When designing a home gym, equipment is one of the most important of considerations.  Should you go high-end and build a home gym with the crème de la crème, the best of the best- health club grade, commercial fitness equipment that would make a fitness trainer drool (but just might bust your budget)?  Should you install a single purpose home multi gym or fill your space with lots of home exercise equipment  - squat racks, stair climbers, ski machines, elliptical sports equipment?

If budget is an issue, should you buy used gym equipment, cheap gym equipment, discount gym equipment, reconditioned gym equipment? Or do you just go the simple route? A minimalist approach?
